The 5 Nations Health Protection Conference 2012 will be held from Tuesday 1st to Wednesday 2nd May 2012 in the Europa Hotel, Belfast. Sessions will include outbreaks, surveillance, sexual health, travel, health care associated infections and hot topics.
The Five Nations Health Protection Conference takes place annually at a different venue in one of the five host nations (England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland). The aim of the conference is to provide a focus for CPD for consultants in communicable disease control, consultants and specialists in Public Health and their colleagues in epidemiology, and control of infectious, non infectious and environmental hazards.
The organisation of the 5 Nations conference rotates around the UK and Ireland with local groups taking responsibility for making the necessary arrangements. It is open to both PHMEG members and non-members.
